Community Days
We reserve one day of every month for the building to be used RENT FREE for community events.
To use a rent free community day, you must be a Guilford resident or organization, and the event or gathering must be open to everyone and free to attend.
Have any idea? Reach out to us! We will help you spread the word about it, and if you need some help getting started we can do that too. Regular building rules apply (cleaning up after the event, no smoking, animals, fires etc.) but otherwise the only rule is that it must be accessible to everyone and free for all.
So…what event would you like to see happen in town? Let’s make sure it does!
Our November Community Day was a Children's Craft Fair organized by Guilford FOLK, the wonderful group who brought us Guilford Free University and the Winter Pen Pal Program at the library.
Over 40 children participated this year, selling everything from poems, to crafts, to holiday gifts.
