Yoga is coming to the BBCC!! Join us for a Kripalu All-Level Community Yoga Class organized by the amazing folks at the Guilford Recreation Commission. The first class will be on October 14th at 5pm.
This class is accessible to people of all abilities and experience. Kripalu-style yoga is a form of Hatha Yoga that is a nonsectarian and nondogmatic vinyasa (flow) style class. Each class includes a centering pranayama (breathing exercise), warm-ups, asana (posture) sequences, and a final guided shavasana (relaxation). Modification prompts will be provided for those who would like to challenge themselves or those who would like accessibility options for their body.
Discover the mind-body connection, encourage stress reduction, and improve self-regulation and physical health. Guided by Lindsay Parise, a yoga practitioner of over two decades, who is excited to offer this community-based class.
This 60-minute class will meet at the Broad Brook Community Center twice per month, on Mondays at 5 pm. Upcoming dates are October 14th, October 28th, November 11th, December 2nd, December 16th, December 30th.
