On Saturday, May 3rd, join fellow Vermonters in this unique, statewide volunteer event to clean up our neighborhood roads. This is an opportunity for us to work together as a community and focus on a common goal -- cleaning up our Guilford roads. If you can volunteer even for an hour or two to pick up roadside litter, it will make a huge difference!
Stop by the BBCC from 8am - 5pm on Saturday May 3rd. We will have Green Up trash bags and reflective vests for volunteers to pick up, and the dump trucks will be parked there until 5pm to receive all the roadside trash you can gather in your bags. Note that you can also pick up Green Up trash bags ahead of time at the Town on any day they are open (Monday through Thursday, 7am - 5pm).
There will also be a map where you can sign up for a road to clean. For more information on Green Up Day events throughout the state, and the history of Green Up Day in Vermont, please visit greenupvermont.org.
